Please be advised that the Lagasse Connector Trail area from the Patten Street Ramp to the Lagasse/Duncan Bridge crossing the Caribou Stream and the area to Big Cheese Pizza on South Main Street is TEMPORARILY CLOSED. Caribou ATV Club is currently working to open this area as soon as possible.  An ATV Trails Advisory Meeting is scheduled for June 01, 2010 @ 6:00pm at the Caribou Parks & Recreation Department at 55 Bennett Drive to discuss how this area can be reopened.Please contact President Cathy Martin @ 227-8850 for more information.

Madawaska has reported there trails have opened May 1st,washburn and Presque Isle has also opened theres May 1st. There is one major washout that isnt passable it is 12 feet deep and is located in the perham area on the washburn side of Tangle Ridge road. Its in the process of being fixed. www.atv.homestead.com looking for more trail info from north of caribou to update website. Also have a chat forum.

 Trails normally open varying on weather on May 15, yet I am hearing that Saturday May 1st they will be opening...? I heard trails are dry and for the most part are ready.

I've fixed the map issue and will see about getting one more map up for the FortKent area.  As for the Van Buren Map, I have no access to this new map..  if someone can scan it for me and email me, then I can place this one online instead.

Bruce, When I download the Fort Kent Map I keep getting the map for Presque Isle (Star City) Can this be fixed for others to use? Also the Van Buren Trail map has new trails since this map was completed. Great work on the site! It's fun to look at!
